Anna Skotko is a highly experienced litigator with an outstanding record of obtaining successful outcomes on behalf of her clients. Anna served for over 13 years as a federal prosecutor in the prestigious U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where she was lead counsel in numerous trials and authored/argued over a hundred cases on appeal. During her tenure, Anna rose to serve as Deputy Chief of Appeals and Acting Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division, overseeing a wide range of prosecutions and appellate litigation.

In private practice, Anna has negotiated favorable resolutions in criminal and civil cases; led sensitive internal investigations; and vigorously advocated for the interests of her clients in high-profile litigations. As an Adjunct Professor of Law at both N.Y.U. Law School and Fordham Law School, Anna teaches advanced courses on Professional Responsibility and Ethics; Effective Drafting and Advocacy in Criminal Law; and Advanced Legal Writing.

Anna is an active member of the CJA Appellate Panel for the Second Circuit; the Federal Criminal Practice Committee of the Federal Bar Council; the Women's White Collar Defense Association; and the New York City Bar Association.

Earlier in her career, Anna clerked for the Hon. Barrington Parker, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and for the Hon. Barbara S. Jones (Ret.), U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Anna earned her law degree from Yale Law School. She also holds degrees from Oxford University and Harvard College, where she graduated summa cum laude.
